Method
- Brown the ground beef with the onion over medium-high heat to 160°F (71°C).
- Stir in pasta, tomatoes, broth, tomato paste and garlic powder.
- Cover and simmer 12–14 minutes, stirring, until pasta is tender.
- Stir in the cheddar until melted and creamy. Season and serve.
Notes
- Add diced pickles and a squirt of mustard for real burger flavor.
- Splash in a little milk if it gets too thick.
- Top with more cheese and broil for a golden crust.
